Cookies

This page describes how skyline-group.fr uses cookies and other trackers. It comes down to one sentence: it does not.

French law governs this page; this English version is an adaptation provided for convenience, and only the French version is authoritative.

No cookies, no trackers

The site sets no cookies in your browser. It neither writes to nor reads from your device: no cookies, no local storage (localStorage or sessionStorage), no pixels.

It runs no analytics of any kind — neither statistical nor advertising. No third-party script watches your visit.

Why there is no consent banner

Under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), a visitor's consent is required before anything not strictly necessary is read from or written to their device. This site does neither.

There is therefore nothing to consent to: no banner is required, and you will not see one.

How visits to hotels are attributed

Skyline earns a commission paid by the establishments presented, when a visit from this site leads to a booking made on the hotel's own website.

That attribution relies on no tracker set by our site. The outbound link carries a URL parameter indicating where the visit came from; a promo code, defined by the establishment, can be mentioned at the time of booking on its website. The matching is done by the hotel, in its own systems. Nothing is read from or written to your device by skyline-group.fr.

Once you are on an establishment's website, its own cookie policy applies.

If this ever changes

This page would be updated before any cookie or tracker of any kind is added.

Only two scenarios exist. Consent-exempt audience measurement — anonymous statistics compliant with the guidelines of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, such as a Matomo-type tool configured to those guidelines — would be described here before going into service. Any other tracker would only be deployed after prior consent is collected, with “Refuse all” as simple as “Accept all”.
